Horn player Ben Reidhead graduated from the Cleveland Institute of
Music with his bachelor’s degree in 2011.  His primary teacher was
Richard King, principal horn of The Cleveland Orchestra, and he
additionally studied with Richard Solis and David Brockett.  Ben plays
with CityMusic Cleveland, the Canton and Ashland Symphony Orchestras,
and the Firelands and Mansfield Symphonies.  He has performed with
Lorin Maazel’s Castleton Festival Orchestra in Virginia and Muscat,
Oman, and toured South America with the YOA Orchestra of the Americas.
He attended the Music Academy of the West and the Kent/Blossom and
Colorado College Summer Music Festivals.  He earned his International
Baccalaureate and high school diplomas from Poudre High School in Fort
Collins, Colorado, and currently lives in Cleveland, Ohio with his
wife, violinist Erin Reidhead.
