Erin Reidhead - Violin

Violinist Erin Reidhead received her bachelor’s degree in violin performance with academic honors from the Cleveland Institute of Music, where she studied with Stephen Rose, principal second violin of The Cleveland Orchestra.  At CIM, she completed long-term Suzuki teacher training with Kimberly Meier-Sims.  Upon graduating, Mrs. Reidhead was appointed to the faculty at the Sato Center for Suzuki Studies at CIM, the Aurora School of Music, and the Broadway School of Music and the Arts.



She is a member of the Canton and Firelands Symphony Orchestras, and also performs regularly with the Cleveland Pops Orchestra.  In past summers, she has participated in the National Repertory Orchestra, ENCORE School for Strings, Banff Masterclass Program, Bowdoin International Music Festival, and the Beijing International Music Festival and Academy. 

A native of Frederick, Maryland, Mrs. Reidhead grew up as a Suzuki student, studying with Ronda Cole and Lisa-Beth Lambert.  Additional studies have been with Kathleen Winkler, Marylou Speaker Churchill, and David and Linda Cerone.  She currently resides in Cleveland with her husband, horn player Ben Reidhead.
